I was born youngest of three siblings on August 30, 1953 in Victorias Negros Occidental, a province in the middle of the archipelago called the Philippine Islands or the Republic of the Philippines. I live with my wife , 5 kids and 4 grandkids in Las Pinas, about 20km south of Manila. I am a visual artist by vocation and I do photography as a pastime pursuit to aid my composition of paintings. I was introduced to Street Photography by an invitation of a then FB friend Jd Diestro on my first ever photowalk in Luneta (Rizal Park), in early 2012, together with the famous photographer Luis Liwanag. Then, in quick succession, the Mataro brothers, Joel & Jayvee invited me for my second photowalk somewhere in Laguna. Then a few more photowalks followed after that all the time using an almost dilapidated CASIO Exilim P&S. When a Don Bosco seminary classmate (Mel Barrera) whom I have been reunited after more than 40 years gifted me with a Nikon D80 last year, I began to dream big about my photography, especially Street Photography. It is a world I have come to love!
