I practice photography as a hobby and passion. I am an information technology professional and have over 20 years of experience in the field holding different management positions. I work for a leading private banking firm in New york city.
I am an avid reader and writer. Over the years, I discovered that reading and writing provided me a creative outlet. Reading helped me to introspect and shape my thoughts and beliefs;writing allowed me to express myself on topics that mattered to me the most. This in turn acted as a platform to deal with professional pressures and help reinvigorate and recharge myself after rustic moments.
I have unsuccessfully attempted at writing for newspapers and magazines in the past. Social media , with its native self-publishing capability, helped fill that gap/void.
I was drawn into photography as an alternative medium of expression. The ability of a static picture to tell a story or be etched in history is an enigmatic concept that pulled me in. I have been into photography since 2010 and have thoroughly enjoyed its company. I developed passion for street and documentary photography and am working on few personal projects. My first exhibition, a solo one titled PROGRESS is slated to be at the Loke Wan Tho Gallery at the Photographic Society of Singapore between April 25th and May 10th 2015. This is in conjunction with #SG50 celebrations island wide in 2015.
Realizing the importance of the occasion, I will be graduating my profile exposure with a brand new website to show my limited work. This profile will be updated in due course.
